I bought a new windbreaker yesterday. It is a Microlight Jacket from Bergans. The jacket is windproof and water-repellent. It has a hood, velcro closure at the sleeves and adjustable elastic at the bottom. The hood has a fixed shade and a non-adjustable elastic, which fortunately fits my head just fine. I’ve only used it for dog walking so far, but it blocks the wind nicely and closes well everywhere. It reduces the weight a bit on the windbreaker side, which compensates a bit for me choosing to bring an older (and heavier) Härkila rain kit for Sarek, instead of Arcteryx jacket, patagonia pants, Härkila gaiters and Hermod pants.
