My backpack on my trip to Sarek in 2023 weighed 3.5 kg. It has now been replaced with an Opsprey Exos 48 L that weighs 1.3 kg.
Exos is flimsier and made of thinner material, but it’s more solid than most ultralights and thus a good compromise.
I have used it on quite a few short hikes. It requires some ongoing adjustment, but it fits me well and distributes the weight nicely between shoulders and hips.
